Dolci Café to temporarily close its doors

Craighall’s Dolci Café has closed its doors with immediate effect due to the ongoing global situation regarding COVID-19.

The popular Italian eatery will temporarily close and cease all operations, including take-aways, for the safety and well-being of both its staff and customers.

Says owner Clayton Boyd: “Our priority is our staff members who have to take public transport to get to and from work and that puts them at a higher risk. We also have to be mindful about risks to the health of our guests.

“In light of President Ramaphosa announcing a National State of Disaster, and the latest Government decisions about public gatherings, we have decided to close until April 15, after which date the government has indicated all public institutions will be allowed to reopen. At that time, we will reassess the situation.”
